Beginning Wednesday, June 6 at 6:00 p.m.
I am excited about some changes coming to our Wednesday night offerings. This new approach kicks off this summer on Wednesday, June 6 (the same day VBS begins). We are changing the place and time of our Wednesday night fellowship meal, taking the church out into the community!
Join us in the food court at Oak Court Mall from 6:00-7:00. It will still be light when we finish, it’s close to the church, it’s on the ground floor and has plenty of parking. This will be a wonderful, intergenerational opportunity for us to gather there and fellowship together. We will be able to select where we buy our suppers and then all sit in one section of the food court. There will not be a formal program like we might normally have at church. Instead, one or two deacons will lead us in announcements, prayer requests and prayer before we close.
We all value the camaraderie of spending time together, getting the chance to know each other better through sharing a meal and enhancing our fellowship time. This is also a terrific opportunity for us to show up in support of local businesses in our own neighborhood.
I’m looking forward to this opportunity and I hope that you will join me there and maybe even bring a friend!
